Organic Amla Powder, also known as Indian Gooseberry powder, is the powder form of the Amla berry native to India. It is made quite simply from drying Indian gooseberries and grinding them down to make a powder. It can be used as a natural herbal supplement for both hair and skin and helps to promote healthy ageing.

One of the best ways of consuming amla powder is through the powdered form as it makes it easier to add to juices, smoothies and shakes, or ever added to cereals, porridge, yoghurts and muesli. Alternatively you can add 1-3 teaspoons of to a cup of water to make a drink rich in antioxidants. It has a naturally sweet but slightly bitter taste, however once it is added to other ingredients is very hard to distinguish a taste, therefore can easily go unnoticed.
